Brooks leads Westside Baseball as Director & Program Head. He has also been the head baseball coach at Parker High School since the fall of 2024.
Originally from Green Bay, Brooks is a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame Academy where he was a High School All-State Player. He went on to both play and coach at the collegiate level:
2002 - Ohio State University
2003 - Gulf Coast Community College
2004-2005 - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
2006 - Graduate Assistant Coach at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
After moving to Janesville in 2010, Brooks started his own baseball & softball training business, partnering with youth travel programs such as GRB Academy and Thundercat Baseball to teach lessons at their facilities as well as providing lessons locally at the cages above MMPR.
Over the years, Brooks has worked with hundreds of players who have gone on to play in college and professionally. He has trained and mentored several players who have gone on to play in the MLB, including Danny Jansen, Ben Rortvedt, Drake Baldwin, Jake Campbell, Jack Blomgren, and Alan Roden. Today, he hopes to provide that same caliber of coaching to aspiring players on Janesville's westside.
